Lora, I don't know just what you have tried to this point after Herbs reply but try this if you haven't found the problem. With the Amaya on, click on the "Maintenance tab", and then select "Steppers". In the left column, under the heading of "Color Change", click on the "Home" tab. This will command the needle case to seek out its home position on needle # 9. If this does not work for you then we may need to try to move the needle case a half color change one way or the other. This must be done "very carefully" as the Amaya "princess" as Herb refers to his, does not take kindly to having her needlecase sprung. It appears from the description you have given that the needlecase has gotten just a half a color change off. If this is the case and you need some help, please call me and I will talk you through resetting it to the right position. It is not a difficult thing to accomplish, just must be done carefully. There is the possibility that the sensor has moved, gotten oil and lint on it, etc, and have to be replaced, but we'll try other things first.
