Unplug it from the port on the hub as well as the machine and plug them in again. This will exercise the pins in case of some possible corrosion. Also you might just plug the machine Ethernet cable into a different port on the hub. To check for a bad Ethernet cable, swap the good machine cable to the malfunctioning machine and see if the computer will recognize it. See if this helps as starters..
