This would be the rotary hook support/retaining finger position. On the left side of the sewing arm are two small, silver, 2mm screws that hold in place the rotary hook support. This is the little metal finger that holds the bobbin case and bobbin basket from spinning around. I suspect that your's may have been moved out of it's correct position. To correct this, loosen the screws (but do not remove) and push the support finger all the way in until it touches the bobbin basket notch and then slightly pull it forward, just a hair, so that thread can pass between the finger and basket. Then tighten the screws. If the rotary hook support was pushed to far in up against the bobbin basket, you wouldn't be able to stitch one stitch. Who knows, if you check this you might be able to start sewing this weekend. Best of luck, Ed =========================================================== The AmayaUsers Mailing List Website: http://www.amayausers.com Discussion Board: http://www.amayausers.com/boards Subscribe/Unsubscribe: http://www.amayausers.com/list ===========================================================
