I had something similar happen but it seemed to go a step further. I also got the message "Color Change Time Out". To enable to proceed, the Melco help desk had me do the Emergency Stop to shut off, then turn the Emgergency stop to turn back on. I then needed to use the keypad to move the needlecase to the proper position. Hey, this has happened to my oldest of three machines on an occasion or tow..nut nothing frequent. What I do is unplug the yellow ethernet cable that runs from the hoop before sewing and it has always worked for me. Somethines computers and software have glitches that aren't really a big problem such as software etc. One other thing that I tried once was to simply push the emergency stop for a few seconds and then release. Then reload the design and center hoop before sewing. Have had luck with this as I think it just clears the garbled memory . give this a shot before going to all the trouble of uninstalling and reinstalling software etc. Dana @ Threadworks Custom Embroidery & Ram Printing & Promotions Inc.
