No, that does not work.  That only gives you the overall information.  Not
what I can get with the ruler.

I just click on the column, right click to properties, and go to status-that
gives you the size right there, doesn't it?

I can do that if it is one point or a couple of points.  But I am checking a
bunch of points and need to learn to do it more effectively.

 Is there a easy way to find the width of the column  than selecting the
points and subtracting their x or Y values to find the length of the column.
