I was told years ago that a true golf shirt has the pocket on the right side,
instead of the left like a polo shirt...so that if you had something in the
pocket, it won't affect your golf swing!
But I've never had anyone order a shirt with the right hand pocket...so all I
know is in the catalogs the polos seem to be all solid colors, golf shirts have
stripes and contrast trims...and gawd awful shorts underneath on hairy
legs....LOL...
