Always start with the simple stuff: check your network cable from PC to Amaya (unplugged? broken? loose? ran it over?). If in doubt, replace it (has to be a crossover cable). If that all looks okay, then you could try on the PC: right-click on "My Computer," select "Hardware" tab, then select "Device Manager." Under "Network Adapters" find the one attached to the Amaya. It may show an error condition but maybe not. Try right-clicking the adapter, choose disable, exit, and reboot. When you are running again, follow the same steps but this time, enable the card. You could also have the Amaya powered on to observe the connection coming back online (usually an icon on the PC, or "show all connections" to see it). Perhaps this will help reload the communications software for the card. If the problem is in your Amaya, it won't do a thing! -david =========================================================== The AmayaUsers Mailing List Website: http://www.amayausers.com Discussion Board: http://www.amayausers.com/boards Subscribe/Unsubscribe: http://www.amayausers.com/list ===========================================================
