OKay I believe I have Amaya OS flex PLus operationg system with one =
dongle. Another dongle is with EDS Design Shop Pro+ digitising software. =
That is why they are different types. Do you not think that it is =
therefore critical that I load all systems into one computer so that I =
can digitise and then embroider. Then I think if I have the machine =
controlling the emboidery I would not be able to do digitising at the =
same time.=20

I still have not started operating the machines yet. STill reading the =
manuals phase.

Bebe,
Do you have TWO licences for the dongles?

I thought I was the only one with the problem and I am glad this issue =
=3D
is brought up and I certainly would like to learn what the solution is. =
=3D
I might add that I have two types of a dongles , one which is for the =
=3D
parallel port and the other is for a USB port. Why the different types =
=3D
to start ???

Thank you

Jeff,

Thanks for your reply. I am able to load the designs from the laptop
(design shop ) since my computers are networked. I do have a shared =3D
folder
and use that to share files. =3D20

I have two computers Main, and Laptop. Both are networked using a =3D
router.
Amaya software runs on the main computer. The main computer is =3D
connected to
the embroidery machine. Design shop runs on the laptop and/or main
computer(if I move my dongle on to the main computer). What I am trying =
=3D
to
accomplish is to be able to open up the design shop on my laptop from my
main computer when I hit the design shop Icon from my Amaya program. Can =
=3D
I
set something in the Amaya exe, to do this? I am kind of looking for a
solution to not keep moving the dongle around. Since they are =3D
networked,
can I do this? =3D20

Best Regards,
Veena.

Hi Veena,

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Do want to be able to =
load=3D20
designs into the Amaya software that are stored on the Design Shop =3D
computer?

or? Are the computers currently networked together and do they share =3D
files=3D20
now for other programs?
