Or if you are working with ofm or cnd files you can check each individual item and change the settings there. It depends on if you are wanting to change certain colors as a whole or just certain areas or the whole design. It definitely helps to have some digitizing and/or editing experience to know what needs changed and how it needs to be changed. Each design is different as well as setting used so there is no simple answer as far as do this this and this everytime and it will take care of your problem. Alot of editing of designs in embroidery should be done by someone experienced because they know what to change and where to change it or at least have a better idea. The easiest way is to start by changing the densities in the scale tab and see what the changes do.
