[amayausers] Applique' letters

I want to experiment with applique' such as adding names to the back of hoodies
or jerseys. Am I wrong or can I use Design Shop to do this. I was looking the
the different lettering and see some tackle twill that looks like it will work.
Can someone give me some pointers on this????
