If you're talking the background color in OS that you see behind each machines
loaded logo, go to "color settings" right click on needle 1, and set the number
from 1 to 0, select your preferred color to set the background color of the
screen. It's just like setting up colors on the thread tree. Sometimes it
doesn't take the 1st time so don't be surprised if you have to try it a couple
of times.
