When you purchase fonts to use with your embroidery, you need to make sure that they are true type fonts. After installing the true type fonts on your machine, you will be able to select them from the font list in the design shop software and use them as you use the fonts that come with the software. The true type fonts are at the bottom of the list. If I'm correct, when you receive the new fonts from Melco, instructions on how to do this are included. If you purchase third party fonts, then you have to treat each letter as a unique design. Hence, the name John would be made up of four designs. Lining up all the letters is always fun (I jest). Each letter is an individual file. Is there a way to import them into DS so I can type in the wording and have it come out in that font? Wolf Embroidery Wolfemb@xxxxxxxx Lisa and Don Ridley
