I've search the topics and tried some of the advice given, but nothing has
worked. We got the 2 million stitch message tonight, and got to the pressure
foot lubrication, and needle one is stuck in the down position and won't go up.
As soon as it did this, the Amaya program froze up and had to be restarted.
When the program restarts, nothing happens. Can't get into to do a head up. If
the machine is restarted, it tries to do the initial boot thing, and click a
few times and ends up with the foot still down. When we started doing the
pressure foot lubrication, the directions said to look at the picture and lift
up on the thing and lubricate it then let it go. I barely lifted up on it and
it stuck all the way at the top. Would have been nice to warn not to push up
too high. Any advice on how to get the foot up so I can reboot the machine?
Hopefully some advice without needing to call tech support.
