Thanks for your mail and the reference - there is a great deal of  
satisfaction when something you flag as desirable comes to pass!
This is a huge step forward and a significant decision taken by the  
Australian industry. It clearly identifies fibre as being the  
centrepiece of the Australian industry focus and places a clear  
breeding goal in place for every Australian breeder.
It is interesting that the Australian co-op has managed to just about  
break even financially including paying growers between $18 to $25 per  
kilogram for saddle fleece when the US equivalent is getting tons of  
fibre for nothing to reach the same financial result.
