We're good. So far. 2/3rds of Santa Rosa had an mandatory evacuation. we
have not yet. My wife, daughter, grand daughter and mother in-law are packed
and ready to leave. The problem is all of the shelters are full. My 2 sons
are out fighting fires. I've been up all night listening to the scanner and
looking up areas and roads...mapping where the fire is head. That worked OK
until the off shore winds switched to a North wind. The fire is about 10
miles from my house. I've been amazed at how well the fire crews have slowed
it's progress. They just announced evacuations for Calistoga. Here's quick
video of the milder winds this morning.
