know Arliss and XPRS start next week. Arliss starts next Monday 9/9 flying
student payloads. There is setup on Sunday for Arliss. Other fliers can
attend and you can fly when the students are not flying. So Arliss first,
other flyers during the downtime.
XPRS starts Friday 9/13, with setup on Thursday 9/12 around 4PM. XPRS goes
until Sunday around noon. So get those rockets ready!
For Vendors I show BAR, Aerotech, and Fruity Chutes. Greg with Big Red Bee will
be there to support his products, and not to sell Dave R, can you make sure we
have plenty of space set for the vendors, more than usual? Any other vendors
coming I don't know about?
On the volunteer situation we need many more people to step up and help. See
http://media.aeropac.org/launchduty.pl?action=show&xprs=X and sign up. ;
Critical volunteers are need for:
Deliver trailer to Site - This is the Aeropac equipment trailer. It need to be
pulled out Sunday by someone
Haul PortaPotty B to site - This should be out there Thursday.
There are no Launch Angles - people who help setup. This is for Thursday setup
for XPRS which actually goes pretty fast since much of the range is already
setup from Arliss.
There are absolutely NO body signed up for any launch duties like LCO, RSO.
It's going to be a boring launch of no one steps up!
The Aeropac BOD meeting will be Saturday at about 5:30PM to 6PM. Last year it
was at Fruity Chutes, but that can change, any Aeropac member is welcome. The
general membership meeting is after that probably in the center safety lane.
Anyone is welcome at the BOD meeting !
So there you have it! I plan to try and be out on the Playa by about 3PM
Wednesday. And if you have something fun to fly to let us know!

Gene
