The investors need to come together to file a lawsuit which includes a
restraining order that prevents Ross Miles and other principals from
selling or otherwise disposing of any assets, ASAP. I guarantee that is
in the works
as we speak. I was unable to listen in on the conference. Was there a
firm there that is large enough with the experience to go after these folks
and pursue the assets through collection? If so, please give me their
name and

The friend of Ross also told me he is trying to sell a lot of his assets

Of course the hearing coming up August 2 is going to be very important. If

$5,000 could be ready and prepped to make the next step and hire a team of
our choice. Hamstreet will only bleed all money and we would be left with
very little or nothing. These attorneys have a strategy that very well
could work. If they were successful and we ended up with half of our
principal we all be way ahead of where we will go with Hamstreet. As Bill
Pritchard pointed out yesterday if 100 members could put up $5,000 each we
would have $500,000. The attorneys said that would be strong enough to hire
the best team. This case will take very experienced experts to unravel,
especially since no tax returns were ever filed by AEM they left absolutely
no trail. Many investors that may not know what is going on like the man
yesterday at the meeting. He admitted he was clueless and there is probably
others.
In these following days up to next Friday maybe we could find a way to
reach everyone and inform them? Time is of the essence could not be
stressed enough.
I am certainly open for comments, suggestions, anything to keep
communication open.
I feel yesterday was a ray of hope and I am willing to help in any way
possible.

I just want to thank you for having this meeting and thank your law firm.
The gentleman speaking at the meeting was very informative and had
excellent advise about our case. It was a bit hard to hear on the phone,
but we could get most of what was being said. I hope there is a recap that
can be sent to everyone also.
I would like to add that I just had an interview this morning with Robert
Kondrat from the Washington Securities Commission and they are already
investigating this case. I know Trey is following up with him by phone and
I am sure he will be getting information from more of the investors as time
goes on. He said if anyone would like to write up a chronological story of
they investment or personal relationship with American Equities or any of

The most important thing I got out of this is that we are going to have to
fight for our money back. I believe the attorney’s involved so far really
want to work for us and feel confident in our case. It is going to be
necessary to get a larger law firm to head things up, but the other
attorneys can still contribute. We are going to have to trust them and be
in it for the long haul. At lease we have some hope. With the
receivership and their high fees we will be lucky to get 10% of our money
back.
Myself and my mother are on board to contribute the $5000 each and feel
this is not a substancial amount for what our recovery should be. It is so
important for everyone that can contribute to do so quickly so they can
start discovery on the assets before they are not recoverable. We do not
want to give Ross and company more time to plan for this. After the August
2nd court date we should have a direction for proceeding and we need to
all stand together in this lawsuit. I would like to ask that the
attorney’s fees be recovered in the lawsuit and damages over and above our
investments for loss interest and stress. I believe the elderly abuse
should be considered also.
I think a letter will go out telling us what to do and where to send the
money for a lawsuit. If even ½ of the investors can contribute we should
be in good shape. Hamstreet is already asking for approx. $173,000 for
1-2 months and it has only been a month so paying our own attorneys is
going to be much cheaper. We do not want a fire sale. There is still
money coming in from properties that could be utilized to pay us back if we
don’t have to pay them all out to a receiver and their attorney. I was
told by Hamstreet that there was around $100,000 in the bank and about
that much coming in monthly from property payments at this time.

Dear American Eagle Mortgage investors,
My name is Robert Johnson. My wife Eva and I wrote to you previously to
gauge interest in a lawsuit against the individuals responsible for the
American Eagle Mortgage debacle. We have received inquiries from several of
you and believe there is sufficient interest to go ahead with a meeting to
explore our legal options.
The meeting is scheduled for July 25, 2019 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the
Oregon State Bar, 16037 SW Upper Boones Ferry Rd., Tigard, OR 97224,
Columbia Suite.
We want to address several points:
1) Selection of a legal team
2) Legal options available (presented by our legal experts)
3) How to collectively reach out to law enforcement, and other federal and
state agencies.
4) Creation of a fund pool
If there is sufficient interest, we will be ready to move ahead

The scope of this project may require involving several law firms. We will
bring a representative from my legal team, Thompson and Bográn,
PC. We encourage you to bring your own counsel if you have one as well. One
important area we all must address during this meeting will be anticipated
costs and expenses (which would necessarily include attorney fees, legal
filing fees, depositions and other reasonable legal costs) that would
likely be incurred over the course of any litigation. As you might expect,
such costs would be onerous if incurred individually. That is why we wish
to discuss during the meeting*,* the creation of a general fund
