    Hi all,

can anybody out there give me some help in using vista with jaws.

I had to replace my computer with an afordable system only to
discover when it got all set up, it has vista.
Are there online tutorials, or is there somewhere on my computer I can
find help instructions (hot keys), or training?
    specifically:

    1. Working in word, ( something called the ribbon and whatever else is
new there.

    2. doing e-mail And using the spellcheck while in e-mail.

It keeps taking me crazy places when I try to spell check. It asks me,
"Get help in communities; and I can't get out of this without lots of
maneuvering.

    3. working on the internet.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

      Martha,

      1. To open attachments received, focus on the message containing the
attachment, but don't open the message. Press the applications key, then arrow
down through the resulting menu until you reach: View Attachments. Press enter.
You will be focused on the name of the first attachment. Press enter to access
it, or if there are multiple files, arrow down through the list to find the one
you'd like to open. After pressing enter on a file, you will have the option to
open or save the file. Tab through the buttons to make your choice, then press
the spacebar to activate the selected button.

      2. To send attachments, compose a message, then press alt + I to open the
Insert menu, and press enter on the first selection, File Attachment. You will
be placed in an "open file" dialog box. Press alt + I again to determine which
folder Outlook is currently searching for attachments. This will usually be My
documents. If your attachment is located within My Documents, or a subfolder
therein, tab two or three times until you focus on a listview displaying the
contents of My documents. Here you can use first character navigation or your
arrow keys to locate the file you would like to attach. If the file is located
in a subfolder, find that subfolder, press enter, then focus on the file and
press enter to attach it.

        3. Not certain what you mean by Wonder Bar. Most bars in Outlook are
not vital.

        4. I find that keystrokes are the most effective way to complete nearly
all operations in Outlook. However, if you are struggling with any aspect of
the program, get in touch with the list and we'll do our best to help.

        Scott

        Hello All,

I am having a difficult time using Jaws to do a few
things in Outlook, not outlook express.

        Here are my questions:

                    1. How do you download atachments?

                    2. How do you upload atachments?

3.What is the wonder bar used for and how do you use it?

                    4. How do you effectively use the tool bars, or are
keystrokes better?

        Hello Everyone,

I am using JAWS 10 and I am wondering if it is possible to have JAWS
change the pitch of capital letters as one can with MSWord.

        Best regards,

        Ila
