Hello Ila,
This is what you can do.
Go to the folder where the file is, probably "My Documents," unless you saved it somewhere else.
Next, arrow to the file, and then press F2.
An edit box will pop up and you can type in the new file name.
You don't need to do this in Openbook.
Hope this helps.

Shen,

I may be mistaken, but I thought that there was a place when the document has been saved in "My Documents," that one could rename the document.

I don't like the name that Openbook gave a particular document that I saved in "My documents".

Thanks for the information!

Best regards,

Ila

Hello Ila,
If you are working on a document that has previously been saved, Openbook will not ask you for the name.
When it is a new document, then Openbook will ask you for a name.
Hope this helps.

Dear List,

In the past when I have saved something in "My documents," I have been able to give the document a name of my choice, however, now when I save something in "My Documents," folder, I am not given the choice of naming the document myself; Openbook just gives the document its own name?

What am I doing incorrectly?

All help is always much appreciated.

Best regards,

Ila
