know this is sub-optimal for a couple of reasons: 1) the heat, 2) the lack
of program rehearsals before the performance. But this is the time Central
Market was able to offer us.
My first thought is that the band could review and rehash the spring
program we're working now? Ultimately, I suppose the solution comes down
to Robert and how much time, if any, he'd want to dedicate to preparing an
unusual program at an unusual time. Luckily, ACWE was slated to start
rehearsals early next fall, correct? In July?
The lineup will remain the same. ACWE would be scheduled to play on
August 22nd at 11:00 am.
Please let me know that you've received this email, and if you have any
questions. Please keep announcements under wraps until Herb initiates
discussions with the other bands. I'm sure he doesn't want to get hit with
a zillion messages.
