The Austin Cultural Contracts application is due May 5. This is the interim
application, so much easier than last year's.
The main information I will need from the board is what will our concert
season be for 2019-20? Really. I mean it, I really need to know that.
I will also need to know any proposed budget changes for next year. A big
part of planning the budget will be knowing venue costs. That means
knowing where we will be playing. So, yes, we really, really, really need
to have a good idea of what our 2019-20 season will be. Really. We won't
be buying another trailer, so that will be a significant change in the
budget too.
Bottom line: We have three weeks to to try to get a good sense of what we
will be doing next season. Really.
Did I mention we need to start planning next season?
