Hey,
So I have email Emma from Covenant and we are booked for Oct. 26th for the “No
Fear Festival”. It ends at 6:00pm so we can adjust the time. We are also
booked at Covenant for December 15th and May 17th for Spring.
Yes to address some questions, JJ has already reached out to Pflugerville and
they have a live band already. I really like the Milwood idea but it does not
pay. It could go into our under Austin concerts but I think we are fine
without the money for one year or so. I loved playing there and everyone
seemed to enjoy the music. We should definitely keep our eye out for something
else next year.
I have already reached out to all venues. Westlake wants me to wait until May
to apply. Dick Frazier has our dates and is confident we can get at least two
of them. Kim at Unity is checking on the two dates with their calendar. I
have applied at AISD for the fall as well. I have emailed Ruth at West Minster
as well just to book those concerts. My goal is to have most of the year
covered, then hand it over to JJ with a general idea of what we do each season
and whom to contact.

Hi All
I am looking at what we talked about for concert dates for the 2019-2020
concert season. A few issues I see so far.
-Covenant will probably do No Fear on Saturday, October 26, but we should try
to get confirmation on that. That means a second Fall concert will need to be
Sunday October 27 or the following weekend, November 2 or 3.
-In light of Steiner Ranch cancellation, should we be looking at somewhere
different for next year?
-I have a vague recollection that JJ had started planning some stuff, but I
don't remember what. I have an email out to her.
At any rate, I think this is what the 2019-2020 season is looking like so far:
Fall 2019
Saturday Oct 26 Covenant (No Fear)
Sunday Oct 27 or Saturday November 2 at Westlake or Anderson HS
Xmas 2019
December 1 Zilker
December 17 Westminster

Let me know if there are any concerns, corrections, complaints, etc.
If TCMF is the earlier week, that will conflict with the brass band going to
NABBA, which would affect several players, including the entire tuba section.
