SUBJECT LINE: ACWE TRUMPETS June 11, 2016. PLEASE READ!
Dear friends,
As I mentioned last week, Dr. Winking will be at rehearsal tomorrow to
spend some time with you. For those of you playing the Fanfare, I still
would like for you to be at rehearsal at 6:30. It’ll be a little awkward
because Dr. Winking has asked that you have fresh chops for the sectional
since he will be showing you some warmup techniques. Because of the short
time that we have, I would still like for you to be at the Fanfare
rehearsal to go over the parts as the other members play. Please consider
that I would not ask this unless we were scrapped for time. Cale – he’s
asked that we have parts for all our songs tomorrow. I assume that you have
extras. If not, we’ll have to get them for him before 7:15. I really hope
that we can get the most out of him as I know that he is a great instructor
and a fantastic performer. If you are not participating in the Fanfare,
please be there by 7:15. Thanks much. See you tomorrow.
