Dear TCMFers,
As the COVID-19 pandemic sweeps into Central Texas, we have worked with
Central Market to reschedule the 2020 Texas Community Music Festival.
The new dates are August 21-30, 2020, at Central Market.
We regret the inconvenience, but we have no idea where this pandemic will
be at the end of April and know that many groups are suspending rehearsals
to prevent the spread of this nasty virus.
Our plan is to simply shift the festival lineup to the new dates, with
everybody playing on the same days/nights as they had booked originally.
For example, a band scheduled to play on the first Friday night (originally
scheduled for April 24), would still play on the first Friday night (now
rescheduled for August 21).
Hopefully this works for you. We hope everybody can play this year's
festival on the new dates.
It is important that you reconfirm your booking ASAP so we know as soon as
we can whether to reopen the festival for open booking.
