Good Morning Band,
I miss seeing you all and making music together! Today would have been our
first rehearsal back, had we not needed to delay.
To this point, the Board has established that ACWE will not be meeting
again as a full band until Travis County enters Stage 2 of COVID threat
level. It has been some time since we asked the band about comfort level
for returning to play, and circumstances have certainly evolved since the
last time we did so. The survey linked below asks for your interest in
rehearsals resuming for fully vaccinated band members before Austin gets
back to Stage 2. Please let us know your thoughts.

The board is considering several factors as we look toward the rest of the
Fall/Christmas season:
- The safety and health of ACWE members
- Local guidelines
- Member interest in resuming rehearsals
- The reality of how short the rehearsal season can be to still put on
concerts successfully
