The video HSUS doesn't want you to see!

It seems that a person/group on another state forum has just found our
counter initiative to Prop 2 here in California that was filed by Albert
Scaletti for the past year ballot (but now invalid, expired) just after HSUS
reps filed three Prop 2 initiatives, all nearly identical. This person is
calling ME an AR! Yes, folks, that is hysteria for you!

We had researched how to fight an initiative like this that was so warm and
fuzzy sounding, afterall, who doesn't want chickens to spread their wings,
etc? Reading HSUS' initiative, we could see this could easily pass so we
needed a strategy to defeat it.

We went to the top leaders and veterinarians in the farming industry in
California and the Nation and asked for a way to protect both livestock and
farmers. We toured their farms with top veterinarians to see first hand the
care the chickens got. Then we sat down with the industry and put together
the counter initiative. This was WRITTEN BY THEM!

In a classic defense, you put up a dueling initiative that if successful in
garnering enough signatures, both would be on the ballot and whichever one
got the most votes, even by ONE VOTE, the other would be negated as
specified in our FAPA (you can read it at www.nokillbill.
<http://www.nokillbill.com> com or www.wethepeopleuss.
<http://www.wethepeopleuss.us> us ).

In FAPA (Farm Animal Protection Act), it used policy that is ALREADY IN
PRACTICE IN CALIFORNIA! Most farms are already certified in quality animal
welfare practices and use strict guidelines within their own industry and
are self-regulated. We have probably the best farms in the nation right here
in California in terms of animal welfare! FAPA also eliminated any JAIL time
and in case of violations, the farmer could simply attend Ag courses to make
amends rather than be fined into bankruptcy and put in jail which is what
Prop 2 WILL DO! It also put the farmers' own veterinarians in the position
to make the final decision for what is best for the animals welfare. You
must read each part carefully.

Judie Mancuso's buddies and HSUS have already set up ACI teams (Animal
Cruelty Investigation) to take down farmers with $1000 fines PER animal, and
these farms have 100s of thousands of chickens... keep THAT in mind! Do the
math! And they intend to charge the farmers for their "investigation"!

We filed the counter initiative in a timely manner. We designed PSAs for
them, ads, etc. everything to help them fight HSUS. We offered it to the
Anti-Prop 2 attorney team that the chicken farmers hired but they CHOSE NOT
TO go get the signatures needed that would have cost perhaps $1 million to
get; instead they spent nearly $8 million on surveys and lawyer fees!

So go ahead, call me an AR. But where were YOU? Did YOU go to the farms? Did
you meet with the industry and veterinarians? Did YOU???

I am sure when ACI shows up at farms with the local AC like they are doing
for dogs right now and they take the farmer to jail and he loses his farm,
home and way of life to the decision to fight prop 2 with a bunch of no good
attorneys instead of getting FAPA on the ballot for a win over Prop 2, that
farmer will then realize just WHO stood up for their right to farm.

I am not an Animal Rights ANYTHING.

I am an Animal Welfare proponent. And I am a proponent for COnsumer Rights.
We all have a right to fresh safe food that is cost effective. I do not want
anyone to go hungry because eggs have tripled in price. They are now double
and the Prop 2 is not even in effect yet!

Those that wish to call me on this subject are welcome to!
