There is currently no app that I know of that plays NLS books. The library of Congress has been alpha testing an app, and I heard a podcast that demonstrated this app, though I can't remember whose podcast this was. If anyone knows, please fill in the blank I am drawing. They said the app would likely be out in June or July, but I have yet to see it. The app will be called BARD Mobile, and allow download of books you have put in your bookshelf. There will not be a direct download in the app for most books. There will be direct download only for the most recently added books, if my memory serves me right. -Jewel Sent from my iPhone On Jul 5, 2013, at 12:43 PM, "RobH!" <bobsh51@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Would like Recommendations for an NLS format book reader for iOs; I'm sure > this has had a good run at some point, nothing shows up readily in the app > store. > > Ta, R. > > With questions, concerns or issues not related to the topics discussed on > list please email the list admin to: beto.arreola22@xxxxxxxxx, or on skype at > betoa221, or on twitter: betoa221 > > To subscribe to the list send message to accessible-ios-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > with subscribe on the subject line. > > To unsubscribe from the list please send message to > accessible-ios-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with unsubscribe in the subject line. > > To adjust your membership options please visit: > //www.freelists.org/list/accessible-ios With questions, concerns or issues not related to the topics discussed on list please email the list admin to: beto.arreola22@xxxxxxxxx, or on skype at betoa221, or on twitter: betoa221 To subscribe to the list send message to accessible-ios-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with subscribe on the subject line.
