I'm not opposed to jail breaking if people want to go down that road, nor the discussion of such a topic, but frankly, I can't work out why people want to risk the potential of ruining what are generally extremely good products to begin with, even if not all of our favourite features are incorporated. Oh yes, this is an IOS list and the topic as I understand it is permitted, but if that's the case, the opinion that people are far too fascinated with this topic should also be permitted. As somebody who knows the basics when it comes to tech stuff, I can't believe the constant fascination with this topic. In the case of blind people, the potential risks are grater simply because of the way blind people access and use the already accessible products. It really is important to understand most blind people aren't using the products in the way sighted people are using the products. You may be using similar apps, the point here is you've using them differently, the simple fact you are using voice over implies this fact. It makes it hard for us people trying to show sighted people and their blind friends voice overs potential. It is a pity really, people who are blind are not more fascinated with this potential than with the potential to jail break a product. Well, I've said far more than my 2 cents worth.
