accessible-iOS Kindle app

Hi All

I just installed the kindle app onto my iPhone 5 and registered the app through 
amazon. I'm finding it impossible to use my iPhone, going through Safari and 
going to amazon to get books.  Is this not possible, when using the desktop 
version of amazon on an idevice?? I keep getting the error message from amazon, 
that there isn't a device linked to my amazon account. Can someone please 
help??!! Or do I have to use my computer to get books???
