The reason people keep telling you about maps is because you can cache the maps on to your device and use them off line.

As far as I know Navigon is not accessible.
You could try loadstone, but I didn't have much luck with it.

Subject: [accessible-android] trying this question here

Okay guys as many of you may know I tried my gps question over at the eyes free list with bad results and just people bitching about why I don't just use max when I explained my reasons why there.
Now here hopefully I have better luck here.

Does anyone know of a gps solution that is accessible and that stores all maps on the phones memory? My reason for asking is that I am traveling out of the country and I need something that will not have to rely on data at all to work. I know the playstore has navigon which I've used on iOS, but don't know if it is even accessible on android. If there is anything talking about navigon or any solution besides it that I can use I would appreciate whenever you can send.
Thanks to all.
