[accesscomp] annoying problem with HTML ebooks

Hi lists,
Yesterday I discovered an annoying little quirk whenever I opened an HTML ebook.
Rather than having the book immediately appear in my web browser as usual, a
Google page of some kind pops up and I have to Control F4 it to begin reading
my book.
I can't think of anything in particular I've done over the past few days to
account for this change.
Any help will be appreciated!
