I would think that if you try to add more files than the cd has capacity for, you will receive an error message. Using the Windows XP transfer wizard, that's what happens. I can't tell you what other programs do but that is what I expect they would all do. Try adding files and see what happens. Existing files cannot be damaged or removed. You can't burn over what is already there. Even when you use a rewritable cd, the removal process is separate from the burning process and requires a different procedure.

Subject: [accesscomp] adding songs on a cd:

Hello Listers: I'm creating a music cd in MP3 format. However, I have so far 145 songs on it! I'm going to use it for a Christmas party for my co workers. It's got oldies classic rock and much more! Can I add more music or Shell I leave it alone? Thanks any help is appreciated.
