That's what I did and it just finished a full system scan and it seems to have 
worked correctly and if AVG is correct, I am virus-free. Thanks for the 
suggestion.

Dear Sherri and List:
 
The error message tells me that your scheduled scan on October 14
at 12 PM (Noon) did not finish properly because of a corrupted
scan log.
 
Probably the easiest fix is to just delete the scan log if the
program has an option for that and see if the next scheduled scan
works properly.
 
I've been using computers since dinosaurs roamed the Earth and
have got used to cryptic messages like the one you got.
