DISCUSS THE AMAZON KINDLE FIRE
During the past couple of years, Amazon has introduced a number of
interesting products to its customers including its customers who are blind
or visually impaired.
There are the family of devices collectively called Alexa, the Echo, the Tap
and the Dot. All of which allow you to access music, purchase products and
to play games and keep track of lists. There are two TV devices, the Fire TV
and the Fire Stick, both of which, using the same voice commands and "Alexa"
voice, allow you to access Netflix, YouTube and other internet-based video
services.
The third group of devices are the Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HDX. These
devices are similar to the iPad and iPad Mini from Apple but run on the
Android Operating System and use the Talkback screen reader. Like similar
tablet devices, you can access things through a wireless connection or a
cellular connection. In addition, you can access Kindle publications through
the Wisper Net without taking-on additional charges.
One of the best things about all of these new devices is their price. None
of them go over $300 and the Alexa Dot cost less than $50. Come hear about
