Marcus,
That can be turned off under Insert + V.
Hit the letter "A" until you hear "Attributes Indicate - On." Press the space
bar and that will toggle from on to off.
Then press Enter to return to the web page.
It should also work under Insert + Shift + V if it's a web page you go to
regularly.

can be a bit annoying.
