Copying was no problem. However, pasting what was in the clipboard was not working. After a search on the trusty Google, I tried the following steps. Things went back to normal. I must add, after running the scan suggest, the report said there were no issues found regarding program Integrity. Then when restarting the computer copy/pasting was working again. Here is what I did.1. Press the start button or click on the start menu. 2. Arrow up to "all programs" or click on "all programs." 3. Arrow once to the right. I don't think mousers need to do that. 4. Arrow down a few times and then press the letter a for accessories. 5. Arrow once right to open the accessories. 6. Arrow down to "command prompt" or hit the letter c until reaching this option. 7. Mousers, click the right mouse button and keyboard users, hit the application key. 8. Arrow down to "run as administrator" and hit enter. 9. A prompt asking permission to make changes on this computer will apper. Click on "yes" or tab to "yes, and hit enter. You could also press alt plus y for yes. 10. Type in the following line exactly, making sure to include the space between the f and slash. Sfc /scannow 11. A "barification scan will start. You will see/hear numbers spoken as the percentages are counted off. When all is finished, a prompt will appear on screen or will be spoken via screenreading software (if available) regarding the status of Windows 7. 12. I suggest restarting the computer and things should work correctly again. Below is pasted a knowledge base article from Google. There is much more than is needed in the article for my situation. However, possible other members would need the information later. The following article is written for mouse uers, however, I have already shown the same thing using a screenreader above.
