Open My Computer or Windows Explorer, then on the view menu, press enter
on either list or details, depending on what you want to see when
viewing files or folders. If you want this to apply to all folders, open
folder options from the tools menu, control tab to the view page and
activate the apply to all folders button. Finally, press enter to
activate the yes button. This will set all folder views to the way
you've set it up, in your case list. Now tab to OK and press enter. Hope
this helps.
