Just a bit more,
The shift right did turn it off, but it was still activating when I
logged back on.
there is a check box in easy of accessibility under make the keyboard
easy to use:
Underline keyboard shortcuts and access keys
I unchecked that and it's all good again.
Thanks.

Hi David,
You could very well be right on that, and I don't know of a solution to that
one either.

From his description of the problem I don’t think it has anything to do with
sticky keys as this would not interfere with NVDA or Jaws.
I fear he has instead turned on the on screen keyboard which would cause
problems and for which I do not know a solution with without sighted help.

Hi,
It's the same shortcut to turn it off. It's a toggle. So press shift five
times, or hold it down, then you will be asked if you want Sticky Keys On,
select No, and you're back in business.

Subject: [access-uk] windows 10 keyboard
Hi,
Got a major prob here.
I was messing around with the keyboard settings in accessibility settings and
have accidentally turned some feature on.
It's eitehr sticky keys or key filtering and I can't find any way of turning it
off
Every time I log on now, it goes into this mode and
jaws or nvda is blocked.
I googled using my win 7 computer and it says shift 5 times to turn sticky keys
on or hold down shift for 8 seconds to turn key filtering on, but no shortcuts
to turn it off, that is without going into settings accessibility which I can't
do cause it's blocking the speech.
Any ideas?
It's going to be difficult getting a sighted person to help with this lockdown
in place.
Thanks.
