Yes Denis, think that's probably right. Will be interesting to see how the scripting capabilities get supported and whether this might in fact generally increase cost of ownership with the added possibilities. Has to be said that a fair bit can be done with Window-Eyes without the, for many, tortuous mental effort needed to write scripts. I noted a comment somewhere that Zoomtext now has a scripting feature, but know nothing of this beyond that mention. Scripting isn't all about making screens and programs that weren't accesssible more usable. What I regret in a way is the near collakpse of any notion or campaign to get the software writers to do right by us. A good deal of what scripting is there to address is the downright refusal and arogance of sotware writers who simply won't take accessability seriously. Some will say that's the real world we live in. I say the world we live in is made by people who can make it a more humane better place if they choose to.
