Well I too found mesages from Clive and one or two others blank also but
this is not an issue on other lists.
So wondering if there is a setting, some of us need to hcange, in order to
read such messages.

Derek, given that the messages were not blank to most others, I suspect the
problem may be at your end. However, without being able to access your
system, I can only guess that perhaps your mail software is not set to
Western European character set.
