Just catching up on emails so apologies if someone has already answered this
one for you.
The volume of the headphones is controlled separately to that of the main
speaker, so when you plug headphones in you may need to adjust the volume by
playing audio and then pressing the volume up stroke down buttons to reach the
desired level. You could also adjust volume by tapping the screen with your
finger and pressing the volume up key as when the iPhone is not playing any
audio and noise voice is spoken you will not make any change to the volume

Subject: [access-uk] using headphones with my ipHone
The majority of time I have no problems using headphones with my iPhone. I
mostly use the headphones that come with the phone. But occasionally it just
goes silent. When I remove the headphones I can hear but as soon as I put the
headphones back in, it goes silent. Any suggestions?
