Hi Janet
The iPhone offers one of the most seamless experiences when transferring data
from one iPhone to another. When you purchased your brand-new iPhone, turn it
on and unlock the other iPhone you are transferring from. If you use
voice-over, enable it on your new iPhone and follow the instructions on the
screen, you’ll be prompted to bring the two iPhones together and an alert
should pop up on your old iPhone asking if you want to set up your new iPhone.
You will need to verify the connection between the two devices either using a
security code or the new iPhones camera however once this is done all your
information including your Apple ID, wireless information and data should
transfer over as part of the new iPhone set up process. It is always a good
idea to make sure you’re running the latest version of the operating system
software iOS on your old iPhone. To do this, go to settings, general, software
update and apply any software updates that are due. Good luck and enjoy your
new iPhone.

in this time of lock down I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to
transfer my info from one iPhone to another. I know I| will have to get
someone to get the sim card out for me but apart from that I would like to try
and do the rest myself. also when you have taken the sim out of one phone is
that phone usable by someone else or do you need some kind of unlocking number.
thanks for any help Janet
