hi billy. you could use powerline adapters. 1 adapter plugs in where your
router currently is. a cable goes from that adapter to the ethernet socket on
the back of the BT box. you then move your youview box to another room and plug
the other adapter in to the mains, then an ethernet cable goes from the second
adapter to your youview box. in other words an internet signal gets sent over
your electric wiring. that way you wouldn't have to move the router. there are
other ways of doing it but they're more fiddly, may involve running extentions
etc and are messy.

cheers,

Mo.

hi guys, BT is my server at the moment.
I asked them to move my main BT box into another room in my home, but they
were not very helpful.
According to BT an engineer would have to be sent, and it would be quite
expensive.
Is there any other way to fix this Issue.
Maybe a switch box or something?.
I only want to be able to use the BT Router and Youview box in a different
room to the main supply box, Billy
