hey £250 is nothing compared to over 3 or 4 thousand for a blind orientated
device like an el-braille surely it would be cheaper to have a braille display
much cheaper maybe people will follow this thread on the list and let you know.
must look in to it.
my u 2 is beginning to get old and i need another way to go.
as i said before on the list the touch is a fantastic piece of kit with use a
billity in mind but for me who will have to pay myself it's a lot of money to
pay.

hi john. Yes, we've managed to source them but the main problem at the
moment is pricing. for the sticks we'd like to supply i$every ones that have
decent quad core processors, a decent amount of hard disk and ram memory
and built in headphone jacks as well as 2 USB ports, people would be
looking at £250 plus. a large part of that is the cost of the windows 10
microsoft license. obviously if people respond to this thread saying
they'd be willing to pay that much, then it would be viable for us to
import them. but you can get an ultrabook or laptop for that price so
we're in 2 minds at the moment. there are cheaper models but the
specifications aren't anything to write home about and they're quite
slow. you can indeed connect a braille display to them, they'd give
older displays a new lease of life.
cheers,
Mo.

Your best bet here is to write to contact@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and ask the
question. I'm not sure of the answer, since they don't support putting it
on phones other than the Doro ones any more.
All the best

Subject: [access-uk] Transfering telorian to a new handset?
Hello Everyone.
Wondering if someone can advise on the following. I have a telorian/claria
vox handset here that's encountered some damage. Its a samsung galaxy S4
that has some ear peace issues due to what appears to be water damage.
Sourcing a new handset should not be a problem, but would it be possible
for
me to transfer telorian on to the new handset?
I should not have to pay for the software again surely? Any help much
appreciated.
all the best,
Mo.
