Steve I can let you know now that the only problems are the silicon wrist strap being sweaty, and having given it a thorough test this afternoon on my right wrist (being a guide dog user) the microphone is not intuitively in the correct position for hands free talking. The speech quality is good as is the volume. I have had great fun playing with it for 4 hours "out of the box" and no sign of the battery discharging.
