[access-uk] subscribing someone else to Yahoo groups

I believe it is possible to subscribe someone else to a Yahoo group
without being the list moderator or owner, so that they get an
invitation to respond to and confirm their membership . (Sounds a bit
dodgy I know, but it does seem to be doable. I have perfectly legit
reasons for asking this.)
Can anyone tell me how this is done?
