Hi Janet,
I use a Hims Braille display with iPhone; a hint that might help: Always set up
the display first, that is, make sure it’s absolutely ready to display data.
I’ve never used the Beetle so I can’t be more specific than this.

in the normal way: make sure Bluetooth is turned on, on both devices, then go
to Settings, General, Accessibility, VoiceOver, Braille, and pair it if you
