Yes this works, I have tried this before you suggested it on list.

But this is a good tip.  I don't know why Jfw v 9 is so slow jaws 8 comes up 
like a dream.

  here is a tip... don't run jaws at start up.
  either start it from the run dialogue or your assigned hotkey to start it.
