Yes this is true. I had a Facebook issue on my unit, so had occasion to
correspond with Will. This was something to do with my Facebook.ini file,
not the firmware, so it was sorted out. But surprise was the order of the
day that Hims had released the firmware. I have pasted all the links for
manually grabbing it in a separate post.

It might be worth checking with Sight and Sound that the Version 8.5
firmware has been released for the Braille Sense On-Hand. They seemed a
little surprised yesterday that HIMS had released this version without
telling them that the beta cycle had finished.
