I guess the say text program will work with the 3GS, but you would have to be in good lighting conditions to have it work properly. I do think that will work even better with I phone 4 though due to the better camera and the added functionality of the flash.

hi there will be a new ap soon it is free called saytext to do OCR on iphone YOu place your iphone centre of the document and lift it and it beeps when it has a perfect image.
I think it is only for iphone 4 due to camera. shame
